From Push to Pull with John Seely Brown
Today's Podcast:From Push to Pull with John Seely Brown

Welcome to this edition of Learning Curve Audio. This episode is a co-production with the Ohio Learning Network.

In this episode I interview Dr. John Seely Brown. He is the author of several books including The Social Life of Information and his latest work The Only Sustainable Edge: Why Business Strategy Depends On Productive Friction And Dynamic Specialization. John Seely Brown is a leading thinker on living, learning and doing business in the digital age. He advocates a shift in educational strategy away from teaching students about subjects toward enculturating students into communities of learning for their discipline. Digital communication is central to this learning. John Seely Brown was a Keynote speaker at the recent Ohio Digital Commons for Education conference. I’ll provide a link to a recording of his talk when it becomes available. I caught up with John Seely Brown between sessions to record a brief interview.
